ordinary yet profound
Encourage deep thinking, inspire profound change, and be a testimony of God’s grace.
I am not a writer. I am not a brilliant mind. I am not an influencer.
But I am full of thoughts, stories, and encouragement.
Blogs are dead. Especially in our generation... we are quick and urgent in our content consumption. We scroll and we absorb and we like and we are formed by all kinds of video and audio. This I know from experience.
But I also know that love moves at 3 miles an hour. Slow.
So six months ago I started a new practice... Every week I sit down and I read. It is a time to stop spinning. All I ask is that you join me in this practice of slowing down. If that means reading my blog every week, great. If it means you sit down with you bible, even better. A book, a magazine, an article, another blog, just something to remind you that we are living faster than we were intended to live.
Thank you
I am not sure what I am doing but I know I cannot do it alone. Thank you for coming along side me, and I hope I have the opportunity to do the same for you.
Want to take me up on this first challenge?
